'One Bamboo'was built in 1959 by W.M. Kings of Burnham on Crouch for
Harold Ernest Bruckshaw.
Due to a change in Mr Bruckshaws circumstances
he was unable to take the boat on. Mr Walter Kingham who had ordered the next
boat from Kings and over took 'One Bamboo' when it was built in October 1959.
Mr Kingham had the boat 40 years keeping her up the River Medway at the
Medway Cruising Club.
He sold 'One Bamboo' to David Wells in April 1999
A new Yanma Engine was fitted in 2000
'One Bamboo'is kept on a swinging mooring in the Twizzle.
